Campsites are now first come, first served. Last weekend there were plenty of sites and I would expect the same this weekend.
I was there on a mid-Sempteber weekend this year, and had our pick of sites. It did rain Saturday evening, which may have kept some away, but was about 30% full.
It can definitely fill up quickly. We were there on a prime weekend this summer and it was mostly booked by 2 PM friday
