If my friend and I both bought 2 tickets a piece are we able to sit together with our significant others or do the tickets have to be under one persons name?

You can ask to be seated together, but you would need to purchase your tickets at the same time, as they are numbered, they have tables for 2 or more.

We purchased at the exact same time on our phones. So when we get there we will ask to be seated together. Thanks so very much! This is the first time for both of us and our spouses, so we are really excited.
