They are all being upgraded to reclining seats
The seats haven't been upgraded... And it doesn't appear they will upgraded anytime soon. The seats at the EMAX Emagine Novi are reclining seats... So the person who answered that IMAX theaters don't have and/or can't have reclining seats isn't an accurate statement. This outlet is definitely in need of upgrades...
It's AMC, they were acquired by the chinese. There won't be any upgrades.
Well, 2 years have gone by, and Still NO Reclining Seat's!! 🙄 I knew they were telling me a lie.
AMC Livonia 20 will not be getting reclining seats
Not everyone is crazy about reclining seats. People with back problems like me don't like them.

Lansing area IMAX theaters have reclining seats.
IMAX theaters aren't allowed to have reclining seats so don't expect them on those screens any time soon. The non-imax screens could be upgraded though.
