I was told that because I could not find my receipt. that i could ONLY exchange the makeup, for the same thing! The policy says I could be offered a gift card..true? No one answers the phone and I don't want the same thing to happen, need the mgr!

This is true, but you must proved photo identification and they will only honor the policy up to $50.

If you use your debit card credit card and they can look it up that way they will do that

I had similar problem..with my debit card and I won't be shopping for anything other than grocery at Walmart any longer.

I myself am not crazy about Walmarts return/exchange policies. Good, loyal customers get the bad end due to those that steal and rip the store off. Sometimes you can get an understanding employee that may give you a break. But mostly, they stick to the policy. Unfortunately, the above comments are all too true. Use ID, only 3 returns a year, inwhich you will only receive a gift card, or you must have your receipt. If not...only even exchange. Good luck.

What everyone who answered said is the way it is

You may have no receipt 3 to 4 times per year...You must show your ID an you always get a girt card with the amount of the product/s you are returning....I just did this today.It must be unused so unopened or no broken seal if it has one. Or they may say they can't take it back. Don't forget your identification card or they will not do it at all.
