Just ate there and it was great food and great service even when they are busy
Very slow service. Waited 45 min for two sandwiches. Food quality was bar food level, meaning acceptable but not good.
I was there about a week ago and heard employees talking to the new "cook". This could be your mystery "change". It's still my experience that the bar staff are amazing. The drinks cheap and with a heavy pour. I haven't tried the food in a few weeks but if you are out for drinks then this is a definite recommend.

Interesting.. I was eating there habitually about every other day last summer from about june through sept.. And the food was excellent by any standard. HUGE salads that are VERY popular. Im completely hooked on the Polynesian sandwich. The first bar I've ever been a regular at. And it was for the food. I cant complain about the service at all. It does get VERY busy at times almost standing room only but I've never had much of an issue with service.
You must have gone on a bad day - their food is WAY above regular bar food. Go give it another try!
Oh thank you. We've been going there for years and the food definitely sucked today. So did the service. Worst part brought new person with us after talking it up....oh the shame
Yes, new owner and some new staff. I got an awful black bean "Burger" the other night that was tasteless, fell apart as soon as I picked it up...waste of money. And service is sssssslow!
