I notice from the Hermosa Beach government website that the Pier officially closes at 10:00pm. Is there a gate that's locked at 10? Would I get in trouble if I walked out onto the pier after 10?

Usually this pier doesnt have a gate to close, maybe someone might notify you to leave. But honestly you can go as you please
