I have an iPad mini not by choice but because there's an app,that I absolutely need that is only available on the iPad. I have a Samsung that blows it away. Faster, better screen, overall better performance. If it weren't for this app, I'd never have wasted my money. The whole "virus immunity" is a fallacy. I own several PCs and have NEVER had a virus. If you really want performance, spend a little more and get a Microsoft Surface. Hands down a better device....
Apple is definitely a leader in the tablet market. Especially in avoiding viruses and such. You should choose depending on what you want to use the tablet for. iPad s are great for media applications but Android tablets cover a wider spectrum of applications. So if you are planning on entertainment let's say, the iPad is the way to go.
Wont get a virus but isnt as versatile as a samsung product amd definitely more expensive. Depends on what you want to so with it.
