What is acola?
I swam 1600 meters for a triathlon and was fine after. So....
The e coli bacteria levels were high in other parts of the lake (it is a large lake) earlier, those were probably the reports you heard. After the large amount of rain it is possible the readings at the park will go up some but only testing with provide us with whether the levels are too high. There is always some e coli present in fresh water sources, it is just whether it is too high that warrants warnings about not swimming. If there are any issues, we will post on the park's website whether swimming needs to be closed.
Not sure I was there last summer no problems. You'll have to call the park.i just read May 8th it's still a bit high but they are working on the issue.
