I understand paying to park but why do I have to pay to swim at a super small over crowded beach with disgusting bathrooms? As much as they charge yo. Should y’all be able to fix the bathrooms or hire someone to clean them?

Lol, its to support our state parks and help to preserve the beauty of the nature. Maybe next time you're there try to enjoy some of that instead of complaining about a camping park bathrooms, its not the hilton.

We have lifeguards and we have staff that try to keep the bathrooms clean. With the visitation at the park that can often be difficult. The area we have as the beach is what has been developed and is safe for swimming. Otherwise the lake can have uncertain bottoms, steep drop offs, and less protection from water craft.

How much is it to swim then? I was only able to find the parking fee.

You don't. You can always go elsewhere to swim.
