Reservations aren't required, but if you have a large party or want to be sure you get seated right away, even if it's busy/peak times, it's a good idea.
You can go on their website and put your name on call ahead saying so if there's a wait, you're already in line before you get there.

3 of us went on a saturday night, without reservations. The restaurant and parking lot were full, but they managed to seat us right away. We only stayed for about 15min before we had to leave. We had just missed the rush though, right around 730, as we were leaving, there was a short wait and a small line beginning too form. Reservations would be a good idea, especially if there's a group of you
