Has anyone's dog gotten sick from drinking the creek water recently? I definitely don't know that it's from that, which is why I'm asking

NEVER drink Creek water without approved treatment. Giardia has been present in Creek water throughout the Rockies for the past 30 or so years but water TX (purchased in camping stores) easily makes it drinkable. Happy Trails to you.

@Paul Huber is correct. There are also "Emergency" little pills you can use in a standard water bottle, but with the technology being where it's at, just get the bottle that will filter it for you! Easier, safer, healthier, better! Or bring your own, especially here, is not 'that' long of a hike...
