Is there a time limit for the designated parking areas for this trail? I would like to park at Chelmsford Center for the Arts and ride to UMass Lowell (ideally every other day) but don't want to come back at end of day to find my car ticketed/towed.

You should call them directly. But if you would like to park at Crosspoint or Heart Pond you will be ok.
