In Sept 18' when I was there filming they had a small area cordoned off to the right of the falls but it was an isolated area kind of at the edge of the woods. It didnt look like a deep dive work wise and hadn't affected any of the accessible areas for visitors. If I were to guess, and judging by the previous comment, I'd think they should have that buttoned up by now. But as Jim suggested, if you call the parks they'll be able to provide you with a status for sure 👍
I was there this past January and the park seem to be fine. I'm not sure what upgrades work to be done but I didn't see anyting being worked on. I guess your best bet would to be to contact Greene county parks and trails. 937-562-6440. I hope this was helpful to you.
