Can I buy a Wal-Mart gift card for my daughter over the phone

You can get on Walmart.com on your phone and buy a digital gift card there. Or thru Amazon. However, buying them online, you get your gift card code and add it to your Walmart.com account. You can spend the money on the items on the website, but digital gift cards will NOT work for in-store purchases. Online purchases only, which can be shipped to your address, OR to your local WalMart for Store Pick-Up

Not sure I think most gift cards must be paid for with cash ...
