Yes! My son enjoyed! They have a passport card with stamps spread thru the museum. He liked that. He also liked the dead cat and monkey (mummys) ;-)
I used to visit quite frequently when I was a kid. It is definitely kid-friendly.
Yes! This place is very much appropriate for all ages
No...unless he is the reincarnate of Indiana Jones. Placards for exhibits are beyond the reading level of a 6 year old. There might be a few things of interest to a 6 year old such as the mummies and maybe the underground tomb. You will be running through the exhibit rooms with your 6 year old.
Yes. It will be amazing for the little ones.
Yes. At least, there is a labyrinth at the yard of the museum. Kids should love to walk in it.
It can be fun for kids, but remember that it's still a museum. I think 6 might be a little young, so maybe bring something to keep him/her occupied just in case.
Id say it depends on the kid. I have 4 kids, ages 9,7,5 and 2 and obviously the littles struggled a bit lol. My oldest who is very into Egyptian history had a good time, but even he got a little bored. My 7yo struggled becuase hes more on the active side and theres not a whole lot of "hands on" type of activities. I would say if your 6yo loves Egyptian history and is ok with a more "look-dont-touch" type of activity, then it would be great. Its a fun museum and even despite the age range, all the kids had fun. Hope you enjoy it!
