Kayaking question, how far can you paddle on the lake. Curious of where the cypress trees are if that continues up stream or ends after a little ways? Thanks, thinking about making a day trip from Columbia, SC.

You can paddle through the entire lake, between the cypress trees you have shadow and it is really comfortable at hot summer days.

We paddled the entire lake. The trees were not an issue unless you actually paddled to the grove that has the duck boxes.
