Can you camp in a tent here? And is there a fee? Also can you have small dogs

You can camp at Shawnee State Park, maybe 15 miles east of there. Good sized campground with hot showers...

The short answer is no. It is a privately owned nature preserve so access is strict. You can call them and try to receive permission.
