How long has this Safeway been in this location? Was it located somewhere else on 38th street?

There is another Safeway location on 38th. Both have been there for about 20+ years

Since the early 80s that I know of.

im not exactly sure how long it's been here I know it's at least been here the 10 years that I've lived in Tacoma now. there is also one at 38th too, that's the one with the gas station :)
