We have a 2.5 gal. round tank, that was supplied with a cylinder and an airstone. I've read that Bettas do not like current. With the cylinder, the bubbles and current are at the top of the tank. Should we use the air stone or not?

I wouldnt. Ive bred, and at one point had 20 bettas at once. Theyre will sit on the bottom, or corner of the tank if you add a airstone to that small of a tank. If it was say a 10Gallon, or POSSIBLY a 5 gallon, then you could get away with it, but IMO, i wouldn't.

It is best to ask product related questions by calling them for their professional advice. This forum is for questions related to the business and is not necessarily checked by the staff.

I would use it, but at a lower flow rate.
