The cost to go to the movie's is high. They are only going to maintain things that make a profit. I worked for Syufy Century Theaters about 25 years ago. They brought in an ICEE machine that was too successful. It took sales from the fountain drinks where the profit was much greater so they let the ICEE sit unused until the contract ended. So kettle corn is good but if it takes away from regular popcorn sales then it will be discontinued. Many folks are still uneasy about going to movie theaters due to shootings even though nothing has happened here in the bay area but long term that will eventually shut down many theaters. They gotta make money.
I called today and the machine is broken? Last week I was told it wasn't popular as regular.that really sucks cause now I have to drive to SL for Kettle lol. Thanks for reply!
Probably best to contact the theater itself.
Maybe it is not as popular as regular popcorn.
