Target is among the many stores prohibiting the sale of wine and beer on Sundays. Especially prohibited behavior also includes the purchase of beer/wine/spirits with Target gift cards, and that is a standing rule for any day of the week. My advice: buy those beverages Monday-Saturday with credit/debit card, or perhaps a Visa/MC/Amex gift card, because they will not let you do it with their own gift card.

No gift cards, target doesnt allow purchases of alcoholic beverages with gift cards. As far as Sunday sales, call them.
