Is it the law that you have to have a big police presence? It's not that it bothers me but that it makes it look so much more clandestine. It's fully legal now. You don't see police at stores where people are buying beer or cigarettes.

They are there to prevent strong arm robberies so i for one am glad the police have a very visible presence

No it's required by law. They do help with crowd control and traffic though.

Happy to have them there. Makes me feel safer.
