We are visiting Annapolis and live on our boat - not thrilled about leaving our small, friendly pup alone. If we visit, can we walk the grounds with him on leash and take turns inside building while one of us remains outside with the dog?

Absolutely yes! We did the same thing during our visit. They allowed us to take our dog inside the open air buildings outside too.

I have never seen anyone with a dog there but there are no signs that prohibit dogs that I saw. I'm fairly certain it will be ok to take him. Hug him for me.

We did see a couple of dogs on the trail, but I don't remember seeing and doggie poop bags on the trails, so make sure you have some extras.
