Alot of people do being dogs in, but not big dogs. Where I interned at the CVS in Porter ranch, alot of people brought in their dogs. One even came in with their bird. The bird was a pretty big one too. The pharm techs were in awe of the dogs, asking questions about them and everything. I've seen dogs in the Walmart by that CVS. I think it all has to do with the manager if they would allow you in with them. Be aware that other customers could have allergies
Legally, only service animals are allowed. It's a health code. However, people are always there with their purse dogs and the law is never enforced. I've seen security walk by without a glance while a dog was being disruptive barking at a crowd.
