Oh yes, we saw a lightening storm and a real human brain while there. All ages can enjoy.
Yes! I went with my two year old nephew a week ago and he loved it. If you head down the main staircase when you first arrive, there is a tunnel system he loved. He had the most fun in the "Science in the park" exhibit on the third floor of the blue wing, and watching the tamarin monkeys in the Hall of Life. There are also fun animal demonstrations a few times per day. I highly recommend the museum for a two year old.
Yes, in addition to the main exhibit halls there is a discovery center for young children. They also have a story time event. I have a 2 and 4 year old and they are there at least once a week. It may not be worth a single visit but with a membership it is definitely worth it.
Yes there are lots of fun activities for children. Also a toddler area.
