Make sure you set aside hours for the visit! While some exhibits may not interest you, there will be some that get you and you'll end up spending more time there. There are also shows in the planetarium as well as electric shows with indoor lightning! When i was younger there were even live shows with animals with a caretaker that would present a wealth of facts with the group and then post a Q and A afterwards. I dont know if this still happens but there is always something happening!
Yes
Everywhere in the museum deseves to be visited if you have the chance. It is so educative and motivational.
The Lightening exhibit on static electricity live demonstration reopened now on Fridays. Ask ahead if possible to confirm and get specific times. Otherwise the films and other exhibits are worthwhile.
The pixar wing ..the. electricity show..and the biology section are very intercative... Both kids and adults enjoy here .. do not miss these
There's enough exhibit floor stuff included in the admission that you don't need to do the add ons to have a great, full day.
The making of pixar is pretty cool but really it depends on what you or your children are interested in. My son is on the spectrum and loved every single part of the Museum.
