There are 2 different tours. The Historic Tour is single flight but not a lot to see. When it opened it was essentially gutted of everything. The Natural Wonder Tour is the best tour. It has a sidewalk leading to the entrance. However, there is a 60 step flight of stairs at the end. It is the only way out and there isn't a rest point on the steps. There aren't any rest areas during the tour, but you stop a lot during the tour. Hope this helps.
I had a 4 month old knee replacement and a 6 month old lumbar fusion surgery. Going down wasn't so bad, but it wasn't good. But I barely made it up the 60 steps at the end. But, I did make it up, without stopping. There was a crowd coming up behind me. So, I had little choice. But, the tour through the cave was no problem. And the sights were so spectacular that I never once doubted that it was worth it. Souvenirs are inexpensive and very unique, too.
Hope it's a wide staircase cuz 60 steps is a lot at once
Mark is correct & accurate. 2 tours. Historic has 2 flights (I think about 40 steps each). The Natural Wonder Tour has a flight of 60 steps at the end.
It was 60 steps straight out, no landing. There are no entry steps in.
The cavern that we went in they were one flight.
