That I do not know. If I were the theater, I probably would not give refunds within 1 hour of the show. It could really lead to some negative cash flow and abuse by patrons. Theaters are charged per showing of any particular movie. If someone wants to see a certain time show and the seats aren't available they may choose to go elsewhere for that time slot. Late cancellation of the tickets may leave more "Empty Seats" to pay for. Trading or reselling seats will lead to scalping. Just my opinion. Good Journey
Most theatres will give you a refund if the ticket hasnt been ripped. If it has been riped they will gove you a pass. Changing times they normally dont care. But they got to change the ticket and time on it for a head count for that showing. If its a small film. It all really depends on the managers that day on how they wamt to do it and on the film. But each company has different rules. Most of them pretty much stay the same
