What do you mean WHY it was showing? It's the movies... I'm totally lost here.
I believe it opened at all theaters, like all other movies do.
Because the movie was released and they wanted to make money by showing a popular and in-demand film.
The movie was shown because was just that, it's a movie just like any other movie. People have the right to view it. Entertainment.
