How long does the title take to come if the previous owner lived in jersey as well as the new buyer ? Is there a way i can get it quicker

Title transfers for NJ Residents can take at least 30 days. You can purchase a transit tag (temporary registration) until your title comes if you have insurance on a previous vehicle.

Usually it takes 6-8 weeks(if its PA/NY transferred) but if the person lived in jersey they shouldve given you the title at the auction so you could switch it at the motor vehicle's i dont see why u need to wait

The return depends on the time frame when the transfer is sent out but I purchased 2 vehicles with jerseys titles and I reside in PA and I received both titles within 2 weeks before I received the registration form PA.
