I used to work for McDonald's a good while back, not this one, but another one, and 99% of the time they will, within reason accomodate via freshly made product or refund in order to maintain good customer relations.

Always go tell them if there's a problem & give them a chance to correct it. They're usually very accommodating. If it's drive-thru, call & speak with the manager.
And this is the "good" McDonald's too.
First encounter with McD's self order kiosk. Wasn't very positive. Required assistance and even then was far slower than a face to face counter order. Delivery to your table was a positive.
