Great thing about this park is that there are many places to sit as you walk the park. If you don't want to walk far, there is a lot of flowers just as you enter the park. The third Tuesday of every month the entry fee is free. I'd suggest you go early and bring your own lunch. There are many very nice places to eat your lunch and gaze at all the different plants and flowers.
