They are more expensive than necessary. You're paying for the name, not the food. The goblet drinks are $35, and like most costly places, it isn't listed next to the item. As far as the food goes, it really depends on what you get, but some of the desserts are also very expensive. Our bill was $92! $70 of it was due to the drinks.

The candy store has no prices listed on the bulk items but they sell for $0.89 an ounce. My fault for not asking I suppose but I won't return.
They cost ad much as a restaurant you would take to impress a date. A little more than say an Applebees. Their specialty drinks and food on the other hand are pricey. Some are worth the experience though but your wallet will feel it.

It depends on what you call expensive. My four-year-old grandson had a milkshake that was $25. My coffee was $12.
No, they are not pricey. When I was there I ordered the veggie burger which came with french fries it cost around $13 or $14. The specialty drinks are a little pricey but not too bad!
