Hi Josh ~ because we have had a very dry winter and spring the crabbing in the bay is better than usual for this time of year. The fall is always THE VERY BEST but sport crabbing is open year round and depending on Mother Nature can be quite productive given the timing with the tides. This coming weekend the best crabbing will be early morning on the incoming tide. We open at 7:00 a.m. - that is your best arrival time :) Call if you have further questions ~ 503-368-5745
Crabbing is open year-round for recreational crabbers, and in my opinion: a bad day crabbing beats a good day at the office... Haha, that being said, you can always call and ask how the crabbing is going. The staff are very helpful.

Crabbing is good right now. We went today and got 14 Dungeness and a few red rock.

You should call the marina and ask they are very helpful about if crabbing is slow or good or if they seem to be soft or hard. It's the right time of year but I have not went out yet so I do not know how it's going this month.
