I was hoping to do some birdwatching there tomorrow and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to see across the inlet to the dunes with my good binoculars. Any idea how wide the inlet is?

I would suggest a spotting scope for seeing across the inlet and binos for the jetty at lighthouse area.
