I have an older model 50 lunch hatchi TV that the power light comes on and you can hear it come on but I have no sound or picture. What do you think is wrong with it

Sounds like it's broken.

Take it to best buy and let them run a test to see what wrong and what it will cost to repair..

Junk it...they are not worth repairing...typically if it is a projection system the bulb is bad...cost from China about 40.00 cost from Hitachi $300

Sounds like you need to take a trip to Best Buy to buy a new one. Is it a flat screen or the old projection screen tvs?
