You are not the first person this has happened to. I believe they list on gunbroker and have the item available for sale in the store at the same time. Most likely, the item was sold locally and they are waiting for a new one to come in, or you didnt submit the proper paperwork for the transfer.
Online firearms transfers are fairly simple. Ensure your FFL dealer sends Sportsman's Supply an up-to-date copy of their respective license. Once Sportsman's Supply receives license copy and your winning auction, I'm sure arraignments will be made to send your firearm.
to the best of my knowledge, they do not sell auction items publicly. every time I have won an item through them and go to pick it up, they get the item from another building or from the basement, not the sales floor. And I believe, according to Gun Broker, the buyer is responsible for contacting the seller. Have you contacted them and given them all the documents needed for the tranfser?
