Why security leaves customer property unattended. Need to look into that.

They've taken my bag and then went off to do something else... which seems this more about them not wanting YOU to steal, since they take your bag. I never liked this policy. But the neighborhood is sort of bad.

Yes i agree with crime prevention, but when a supermarket takes a customer's property there are legally responsible for that property. Leaving it on top of the counter and walking away from the desk is unresponsible and it's a lack of security. I confronted the manager and she agreed but so far I have not seen any changes security still leaves customers bags unattended at the door which will allow anybody to walk in grab anyone's bags and simply walk out undetected. So if this is going on with your property during your visit please bring it to the attention of the manager immediately so that proper changes can be made. If appropriate changes are not made I will no longer be a customer of the supermarket and I will recommend to my friends to not go there at all.

You do realize that these supermarkets don't have security? These are regular employees who help out throughout the rest of the store. And sometimes even do the "deliveries".
