Very clean and staff friendly and food items, etc very organized. Many of the sales prices are very high according to other supermarkets in the area.

I agree with what everyone else has said. But what that being said, I have to also include the place is kinda expensive to be a sub par supermarket!
It's good there's a guy at the door if u grab a basket or a cart they clean a 2nd time b4 u grab it and the supervisor was cool even tho he knew how to do the wic and I was still explaining it to him hahah he did tell me ik without an attitude
I agree, the owner had it that way for the last few years. Then 6 months ago they re stocked. But now its back to the old pioneer. Nothing you can purchase 1 person at the register sad. Its the neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed , the culture here now does not dictate this kind of supermarket. With a bodega on almost every corner pioneer has been a supermarket of the past. Times have changed, not in a bad way. Just no demand for a super market with so many other little stores catering to the culture of the neighborhood . They will stay open and try to sell every last item in the store and the equipment. Then without notice, they will close down.
They take the card for food
No clue, but one of them is always in the store
