Not at the beach area, but there are plenty of places there where dogs can jump in and cool off. I've never had an issue letting my dog swim there.

If memory serves me correctly, pets are not allowed in the swimming area at the beach. I have seen people let their dog swim at other points but the park rangers patrol the swim area regularly
