There are laws in NJ that limit the number of alcoholic beverage licenses a particular company may hold. This is why discrepancies exist... Westfield Trader Joe's sells but others do not. Paramus Whole Foods sells, others do not. One loophole is sharing a building with an independent liquor store (Wegmans Montvale, Trader Joe's Westwood, Costco Teterboro) but they do not carry the house brands. If you are looking for Two Buck Chuck you must travel to Trader Joe's Westfield. If you want Kirkland spirits you must travel to Costco Wayne. If you are looking for a bottle of wine not specific to Trader Joe's, the staff at Stew Leonard's next door will help you in Paramus.
No
No. Grocery stores, supermarkets aren't allowed to have liquor licenses in NJ. The only way you'll be able to buy alcohol, is if a separate store with a liquor license is adjacent or attached. Otherwise you're SOL. This location doesn't have one.
No..call the Tj's in Westwood just down the road a piece
Apparently the Trader Joe's in Westfield sells wine. It is the only location I could find right now but there might be more.
No wine. There is a Stew Leonards (wine only) store very closeby though.
