Does anybody remember the Fishers clothing store in the area where JoAnn’s is now? I am still wearing a winter coat I bought there and was curious about how old it might be. I am thinking it closed in the 1970s.

Fisher's was open into the mid 1990s.

My mother says it was still around in 1980, because that's when she moved to Altoona and it was definitely there when she moved to town. Hope that helps!
