I have not heard of that as of yet. Alot of the stores are closed though such as Hollisters and Victoria screts
Last time I went to this mall it was surprisingly busy. The lack of store variety will make it tough to stay open long term. A few retailers have already left the mall. Having a sporting goods attached will definitely help, but for how long?
I wouldn't be surprised if the mall is closed in 5 years. With what you can buy on the internet these days and delivered to your house, the brick and mortar stores are having a hard time to compete with. JCPENNEY's have already started closing their stores( it's a matter of time when they close the one at the mall) everything will go downhill. TGI Fridays moved out a few years back, Country Cookin recently closed up. The old 4 room Regal Theaters at one of the end of the mall entrances moved out (when they built the 14 plex theater, Which is now closed permanently) ;also when the old Simon Group that owned the mall at the time decided to eliminate the food court. Everything went downhill from there. Same thing happened to Staunton Mall. It's in the process of being torn down. A lot of malls are being torn down because they can't keep their clients. The clients can't compete with the internet and Amazon and Googles, etc.
No idea....hope not.
