Dogs are allowed. Dog swinging is not.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash at all times. I don't know the exact rules for dogs in the water, but I gave seen plenty of dogs at the picnic sites near the beach. Many of the other potential places for dogs to swim (on the trails) are covered in thicket, so you're unable to access it. If your dog likes to play in puddles, though, it's a perfect place to go with all the rain we've had this spring! If you plan to hike at all here be forewarned: I have found several ticks on my dog on all trails north of the beach. Mostly dog ticks, but a few deer ticks (Lyme's Disease) as well.
They can handle the hikes also
