While a cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) bloom occured in late January resulting in the production of toxins (microcystin), fish seem to have a way to process the toxin out rather than continue to accumulate it. That being said, microcystin concentrations are likely higher in the liver (and possibly other organs) so you may want to avoid consumption of organs. If possible you may want to skin the fish as well since the skin is the barrier in contact with the water and may also have higher toxin concentrations.
