Many of the campsites are a short walk to the water, the ones with lake views are very popular & need reservations. Fishing is free, except for a license. The bait shop near the second campground is very helpful they track and post what people are catching, where and recommending what bait/lures to use.

There are a fair number of sites near the shore... if you can't get one on the shore... take a look at their map and reserve where you want to be

You need a fishing license. Some campsites are on the lake shore but those need to ne reserved far in advance.
