Just parked here, but looks like a decent camp spot as well.

I Enjoyed the Sequoia trees and the cleaned air smell you can only get from around all those trees it was absolutely Wonderful! We had a Lovely Picnic and enjoyed the Atmosphere! 😉😃

Beautiful setting. Was quiet. Only 3 people in the whole campground. But rated 2 stars because half the campground does not have running water and the other half the water is not potable, but still expected to pay full priced despite the restricted water access.

You can connect a hose. Only the spigots on the upper loop work. You have to hold the handle down continuously to fill but it wasn’t an issue. The water filling does attract the yellow jackets though. I had them in my camper and all around with no stinging but they were a tad annoying.
The camp host encourages going to the river a few miles up 20 then turn towards the town of Washington. Its about a 15-20 min drive mostly because the rocky dirt road. Scotts Flat is about 10 min towards Nevada city and had day use access for $11 or 6 if after 4pm.
