Our VA license plate tags are due to be renewed September 2018. We are moving to Oregon, leaving September 20, 2018. Do I need to renew my tags? How do I let the state of Virgina know that I no longer need Virgina license plate tags?

Yes you need to review, you will get a refund once you notify DMV of move-out.
