The campground seems to be closed until July 15th or 14th. Are the dispersed camping sites past the campgrounds also closed?
You need to book these sights through recreation.gov and they book up fast. There are a lot of dispersed sights just past the campground (some with spectacular views!) that are free if you get there early enough. And you can use the toilets in the campground.
If you want to be sure you have a site it's a good idea.
