Simply ring the buzzer or call them. They will make an appointment as close to your convenience as possible and chances are you'll have minimal crowds or pretty close to a private tour. It's well worth it and quite a tour if you are an art lover.

The museum is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 4:30pm. We also offer group tours, low sensory programming, and school tours on Tuesday and Thursday.

I know what you mean if you do want to see what's in there just go to the bottom door that's for the offices and make an appointment it's kind of nice that it's not open all the time like that because it will be like a private tour if you get in there at the right time good luck

Yes it would be great if it was open more often. I believe it is a funding issue.
